어제 연친분과 카메라 시스템 이야기를 하다가, 나는 캐논 RF의 어떤 부분을 좋아하나? 생각이 들었다. 매체나 전문가들의 평가야 이리저리 많지만 내 경험에서의 장단점들은 무엇인가 하는.

어떤 사진가가 캐논은 명부, 백색이 좋다고 했는데 그 말이 맞다. DR이 넓다기 보다는 명부나 밝은 색에서의 처리가 자연스럽다. 색온도로 하면 4000~5000K 부근에서 튀지 않는 일관된 색과 그라데이션이 잘 나온다. 첨부한 사진 같은 환경에서 부드럽게 난색을 처리하는 걸 잘한다.

단점은 역시, 텍스쳐, 질감 표현에 약하다. 암부 노이즈가 올라오기도 하고, 질감 표현만 따지면 풀프 24백만 화소가 마포 17백만 화소랑 별 차이가 없는 수준. 해상력이 뛰어난 단렌즈를 써도 정책적으로 눌렀구나 싶음. 장점을 위해 희생한 부분이기도 하겠지만, 좀 아쉽긴 하지.

I think I am going to sell my CANON 5D Mark II full-frame camera combined with an ultra-wide lens.

It nowadays is way too heavy for me to carry arround although ultra-wide photography still fascinates me.

I will carry it to a photography shop here in and see what I can get for it ...

“Bruce Lee”

The Hong Kong Bruce Lee Club raised US$100,000 for a statue to be erected after pleas to the government to honour his legacy. A 2.5 m (8.2 ft) bronze statue by artist Cao Chong-en was erected along the Avenue of Stars attraction near the waterfront at Tsim Sha Tsui. It shows a classic 'ready to strike' Bruce Lee…

“The Hong Kong Symphony of Lights from The Peak”

A Symphony of Lights is staged every night at 8:00 p.m. in Hong Kong.

The best place to enjoy the show is the Avenue Of The Stars, but the view from The Peak is really nice too, even if the music doesn't come so far.

“Long-tailed Broadbill”

The long-tailed broadbill (Psarisomus dalhousiae) is a species of bird that is found in the Himalayas, extending east through Northeastern India to Southeast Asia.
