Oui, ça devient un feuilleton. Les jeux de transparence sont une source d'étonnement sans fin et la bichromie semble particulièrement adaptée ici.

Une photographie en double exposition, au format carré et en bichromie noir-bleu. Elle montre une partie d'un buisson où s'enchevêtrent de longues feuilles et tiges séchées. la double exposition donne au feuillage la délicate transparence des tissus comme l'organza, la mousseline ou le tulle.

A poem I wrote and photograph of a frilly white Cosmos flower in my garden. There is a fuzzy bumblebee gathering pollen in the centre of the flower. This photo makes me think of ballerinas in their tutus, could the bee be a ballerina???

Die jungen Distelfinken entschieden sich heute spontan zu einem gemeinsamen Anfall auf die Wegwarte.

Zwei junge Distelfinken, der eine von rechts zu sehen, der zweite, der ein Stückchen höher sitzt, von der Rückseite, auf den dünnen Zweigen der Wegwarte. Im Bild sind ausserdem Blütenstände der wilden Möhre zu sehen.

“Farbtupfen” / Splashes or spots of color

From a community garden last spring. I took photos from so many distances and angles that it became hard to choose. Here are a couple that I like.

In the background is some sort of freestanding brick sculpture, a table and chairs, some small trees and shrubs, and a garden fence, with apartment windows behind.

For #texturetuesday I wanted to showcase the different bush and tree types in this scene that exhibit different types of textures. This is from the Japanese stroll garden that I visited. What immediately struck me from this perspective was the layering and colors of the foliage and of course the beautiful bridge in the top left.

The large whites have gotten to my brassicas. I was too slow to cover them, and the rest is history.

Sat out in the garden for lunch and loving the sight of the bramble now fruiting all over the place. We are going to get hundreds of blackberries off this from the looks of things.

This is the garden of a Franciscan convent here in Bologna. It was open during "Diverdeinverde" - where you could visit some.private gardens. Funny thing is, there's a plaque that says this is where the Franciscan sisters come on holiday! I knew Bologna was a tourist destination but not that it was hotspot for the clergy! 😂✨

I've never done an post because I'm too shy and introverted, but here goes me trying to be more open. I might delete later if I get too freaked out.

I'm Dan a 40ish white millennial living in unceded Kaurna Yerta.

I am interested in and open source, my day job is a and Dev, because small companies can't afford one of each.

When not working or taking my 8 year old to the many dance classes and SANFL junior matches I like to add to my vegetable and play as many as I can get running on Linux. I also taught myself but my ADHD probably means I will have a lot of unfinished bits I'm working on.

My wife and I were weebs before we knew weeb was a term, having watched Akira and Fist of the North Star on VHS as our second date in 1998. We also love visiting Japan and eating all of the Asian food.

I sometimes make it to conventions, though I won't make this year I hope to get to next year. If you see me come and say hello because I will probably be too shy to say hi to you.

The in The Hague is closed again. I managed to squeeze in a brief visit on Friday.

I do wonder if limiting the opening to a few weeks in spring and autumn really works to preserve the garden, or whether it would be better to open it all year round to avoid the twice yearly stampede.

There are Japanese gardens in many major cities that are part of city life and are rarely crowded!
