Bei uns blühen derzeit viele Rosen, eine von den etwas ungewöhnlicheren ist die öfterblühende F.J. Grootendorst.
Sowohl die Blüte als auch die Blätter sind anders als bei anderen Rosen - wie gefiedert.
Die Blätter sind rauh und fast etwas klebrig.

Diese Rose ist überaus gesund und robust, also kein Aufwand mit den manchmal üblichen Rosenproblemen. Auch die Rosenblattrollwespe scheint die Blätter nicht zu mögen.

eine noch nicht ganz geöffnete Rosenblüte in altrosa. Die Blütenblätter sind ungewöhnlich weil wie ausgefranst an den Rändern. Hinter der geöffneten Blüte ist eine Knospe, die in der Mitte bereits rosa hervorlugt und rechts und links noch von den Kelchblättern umhüllt ist. Diese Kelchblätter haben oben sich leicht nach außen biegende, lange Spitzen und sehen rauh aus, was sie auch sind, wenn man sie anfasst. Auch die Blätter der Rose sind rauher als bei anderen Rosen, die Farbe der Blätter ist grasgrün.
